How We Test

Every review on BareMetalBench is backed by real testing on real hardware. Here is our process:

• We rent real servers. We sign up as regular customers, pay with our own money, and provision servers through the same process you would.
• We run standard benchmarks. CPU (Geekbench, sysbench), disk I/O (fio), memory bandwidth, and network throughput tests are run on every machine using the same methodology.
• We test support responsiveness. We open real support tickets, measure response times, and evaluate the quality of answers.
• We evaluate the full experience. Signup flow, control panel usability, documentation quality, billing transparency, and provisioning speed all factor into our reviews.
• We monitor over time. Performance is not a snapshot. We check uptime, latency, and consistency over weeks, not hours.

Our Review Process

Editorial Independence

Our reviews are written by our team and are never influenced by providers. No company can pay for a higher rating. If a provider has issues, we report them. If a budget host outperforms a premium one in a specific benchmark, we say so.
